Massage2Go @ work is as simple as 1,2,3

April 11, 2011

By now we have you interested in Massage2Go coming to your office. You may be asking yourself, how do we get started? Keep reading and I’ll take you through a mobile clinic one step at a time.

First, have your Health & Wellness Coordinator or a company representative contact us.  After they book the date and time of the clinic at your workplace, an email will be sent by your company representative to invite you to create an account at massage2go.ca .  Each account created will have to be confirmed by your company contact.  This will ensure that those booking the appointments in the reserved clinic time are coordinated to their business’ schedule.  Once your account has been confirmed, you can login and fill out a health form.  This form is created to start a health file and make sure that massage therapy is beneficial for you.  Then comes the last step, which is scheduling your appointment.

Your Massage2Go office day has arrived.  Yeah!!!  You will come to love seeing the Massage2Go banner by the entry, as it signals we are in the building.  The therapists will arrive 15 minutes prior to the first booked appointment.

  • Corporate Massage requires very little space.  Some locations have the therapists line up in the hallway, others use an available boardroom or office.  Each therapist needs a space of about 5′x7′.
  • Therapists will bring with them corporate massage chairs, facecradle covers, surface cleaner, hand sanitizer, papertowel, garbage bags,  portable soothing Massage music and a netbook.

What can you expect during your first corporate massage?

  • You will be shown how to get on a massagechair.  Every part of your body will be supported leaving you feeling completely comfortable.
  • The massage therapist will start by asking a couple of questions allowing her to create a massage treatment to meet your needs
  • The massage is given over the clothes and no oils are used. You don’t have to worry about your clothes being stained or a hairdo being ruined.
  • The first part of the treatment focuses on relaxation, the second is therapeutic… and it continues to feel relaxing.  You may even fall asleep.  No worries about a groggy head going back to work; the last part of the massage consists of rejuvenation leaving you refreshed to go back to work.

Your massage is finished and you are ready to go back to work…  Oh wait, what about payment?  Your workplace will decide which payment type is best suited.  However if the employees pay…no need to bring your chequebook, or cash to the session.  At the end of the day, an invoice will be sent to your signed-in email account.  Online payment of Paypal or Credit cards are accepted.

One last step left…  Don’t forget to rebook your next appointment @ www.massage2go.ca/booking  You would not want to miss out during our next visit to your office.   And make sure to let all your friends and family know what a great massage you had at Work!

When is massage coming to your workplace?

February 12, 2010

Welcome to the first post by Massage2Go’s blog.  I am so excited to start this endeavour.  Massage2Go has been in the works for several years and finally in 2010 it is our turn to launch here in Fredericton, New Brunswick.  As a massage therapist for the past 8 years, I have focussed on giving the best patient care to my clients at our clinic, while balancing a family with three little kids.  No maternity leave, no sick leave, no vacation pay,  and still I love the work that I do.  I enjoy when the time comes rolling around and I go to the clinic to treat my clients.  Now that our children are in either school or preschool I am ready to launch this enthusiasm to greater Fredericton and bring Massage2Go into the corporate workplace, tradeshows and special events.  With the help of my wonderful stepbrother, Dico at www.internetworks.ca and some very technical savy friends :)  , Massage2Go.ca is becoming a reality.  Imagine yourself receiving a therapeutic corporate massage at your workplace… it is now all available at your fingertips. It may sound too good to be true, but that is what we offer at Massage2Go.    I look forward to sharing more about this  and our experiences with you through this blog. You can contact me by going to our website  www.massage2go.ca or at anna@massage2go.ca

For your well-being,

Anna
